Gmail providing chatting facility to users

Monday February 13 2006 10:20:53 AM BDT

The Gmail usars can chat simultaneously while checking their e-mails, reports BDNews.

Google has added the chatting access titled Google talk for their account holders to provide them the privileges from Feb 11.

Google site sources said the users could start chatting with others without having to download or upload any chat software. In the same interface of Gmail, e-mail and chatting including instant text conversation opportunity have been added.

This new chatting system provides the users to store the text conversation instantly in the Gmail account. The intended users could also preserve the text and make a print of their text.

The main feature of this programme is that unwanted persons could not access the chatting without permission.

Moreover, the users could block the unwanted persons from the chatting.

All these will protect the computer as well as e-mail accounts from Internet virus.

Besides, Google announced that it would soon add the voice chat in 'Google Talk'.

In the last year, Google started a chatting option named 'Google Talk' that informed the users whenever a new user enters into the programme.

Google started Google Bangla interface named Google.com.bd in last January where all logos and options were transferred in Bangla.

The poorly educated Bangla speaking people could find out their required information by the help of the website.
